Workshops
Since Colour Affects' new Professional Education Program launches in 2012, there are no current plans for General Interest Weekend Workshops.
COLOUR PSYCHOLOGY – WEEKEND WORKSHOP – 2 DAYS
The course starts with learning the Wright Theory, encompassing the four personality types and how people might respond differently to the same colour; it will open up new insights for you, about yourself and others, and offer all kinds of exciting possibilities for new ways of expressing yourself. The second day also covers how to put colours together harmoniously, based on the latest findings about how colour really works and scientifically-validated patterns of universal colour harmony.
Who is this course for? Anyone who is interested in colour; whatever your prior knowledge you will gain something. In two intensive days, you will learn:
- Exactly what colour is, and how it works
- How colour affects our emotions - our moods and behaviour
- How your physical colouring reflects your personality
- How to know yourself through your own colour preferences
- How you can increase your self-esteem through colour
- How to read what people unconsciously reveal about themselves with their colour choices.
- The psychology of each of the eleven main colours
- The practicalities of putting colours together effectively
Numbers on this course are strictly limited, to ensure that each student receives personal attention, and your questions will be fully answered.
Please note this course does not constitute part of Professional Qualification.

Combining the Colour Affects technique with intuition, students explore how colour expresses our essential selves. Are you living life in tune with the real you? Are you in the career most likely to fulfil you? Does your home truly reflect your personality, and provide the most supportive environment for you? Do you dress to express - or do you prefer to hide? |
